The Trade Mission in Spain, a European benchmark in innovation applied to functional foods, brings participants closer to the ecosystems of Barcelona and Madrid, where nutritional science and food technology converge. During the mission, developments in probiotics, alternative proteins, foodtech, and solutions for healthy aging are explored. The agenda includes visits to Alimentaria and Food 4 Future, fairs gathering suppliers, research centers, and companies leading the sector’s transformation. Attendees will participate in networking spaces and meetings with manufacturers specialized in next-generation ingredients. Additionally, innovation platforms driving startups dedicated to functionals and smart nutrition will be known. The experience allows identifying trends, business allies, and opportunities to diversify healthy lines.
